Waverley Mills, founded in 1874, is Australia’s oldest working textile mill. Nestled in the heart of Tasmania, it has long been a symbol of quality, sustainability, and tradition — producing textiles that stand the test of time. When the opportunity arose to partner with this heritage brand, it was a natural fit for Cable.
At the helm of the design process was Cable founder Georgie Austin, who returned to her roots in graphic textiles to create a scarf that blends Waverley’s rich history with Cable’s modern sensibility. The result? A piece that feels grounded in heritage, yet strikingly fresh.

Crafted from Woolmark-certified 100% Australian Merino wool, the scarf is luxuriously soft, warm, and designed to last. It’s available in two distinct colourways:
